Thirty Seven Weeks Pregnant

Your baby is of the length 19.13inches and weighs about 6.3lbs around this week. Baby is as long as stalk of Swiss chard.


Baby is running out of space in your womb. He is stretching and wriggling, instead of putting big kicks.

The umbilical cord starts passing antibodies to your baby which contributes to the preparation for the delivery. Hence, baby is preparing for the disease and germs he will encounter when he is out the womb.

o   Hearing ability:

He can hear and recognize your voice as he is getting better with his hearing skills. He will move his neck in your direction while you speak.

o   Agility:

During this week, baby’s fingers are becoming more movable and coordinated as he learns to grasp and hold the things. He can grasp his face and toes, and will be able to grab your finger.

o   Head-down:

Within this week, most of the baby has come in the head down position. If in case baby is in feet down position. You can talk to your consultant and can do accordingly.
